Block Blue Glasses Gamer are built for long sessions — the kind where you look up and it's 2am. The tinted lens cuts the short-wavelength light your screen throws at you, which is the part of the visible spectrum most closely tied to alertness, and to when your body starts producing melatonin.
Three lenses, three jobs
Yellow — daytime and competitive play. The lightest tint, so colours stay close enough to normal to read a minimap or pick a target out of the background.
Orange — evening sessions. A stronger filter for the two to three hours before you actually want to be asleep.
Red — past midnight. The heaviest filter of the three. Colours shift a long way, so this one is for winding down rather than for ranked.
Built to wear for hours
A lightweight frame designed to stay comfortable across a long session rather than to be noticed. Every pair ships with a foldable carry case and a microfibre cleaning cloth, from our EU stock.
Worth knowing before you buy
If your goal is sleeping better after late sessions, an orange or red lens is a reasonable thing to try: evening blue light is well established as a signal that delays melatonin release.
If your goal is stopping tired eyes mid-session, be realistic. Most eye-care bodies now put screen fatigue down to prolonged focusing, glare and reduced blinking rather than blue light. Drop your brightness, look away every twenty minutes, and blink more — that will do more than any lens.
Common questions
Are they prescription? No, and they don't fit over prescription glasses.
Will the tint affect my aim? Yellow is the safe choice for anything competitive. Orange and red shift colour noticeably.
Can I wear them outside? Yellow is fine in daylight. Don't drive at night in orange or red.
Prefer a classic frame in four colours? See the standard Block Blue Glasses, or browse the full blue blocking glasses range.
